Every writer has a story they’ve been trying to tell for years or one they completely avoid because it feels too raw, too painful, or too exposed to put on the page. In this six-week workshop, you will learn The Writers Studio’s persona narrator method. By placing a psychological buffer between yourself and your material, you can safely explore your deepest emotional truths without feeling consumed by them. Turn your toughest life experiences into powerful fodder for fiction, memoir, or poetry.

Techniques from established writers such as Franz Kafka, Peter Handke, Audre Lorde, John Cheever, Joan Didion and Edouard Louis or any of our more contemporary poets and writers are used to help motivate confidence and inspiration.
